📸 Let’s Talk About Those Totes of Photos…

I can’t tell you how many times I walk into a client’s home and see tote after tote after tote—FULL of old photos. And without fail, the question comes:

“What would you do with all these?”

Brace yourself… because my first instinct? Yep, I’d make the motion of dumping them straight into the trash 🗑️.

WAIT—before you freak out, let’s really talk about it.

Here’s the truth: If you’ve got 10 totes of photos, be honest with yourself… Are you really going to look at them? 🤔 No. You won’t. Ever.

But imagine if you narrowed it down to just one tote 📦… or better yet, a few curated albums 📖. Suddenly, flipping through those memories doesn’t feel overwhelming—it feels doable. And guess what? You’re actually more likely to look at them and relive those special moments.

Now, if the thought of tossing anything makes you sick—I get it. Here’s a solution:

At your next family gathering, pull out all those totes. Let everyone dig in, laugh at old hairstyles, and pull out the photos they actually want to keep. You do the same.

When the party ends? Toss what’s left.

I promise you—your great-great-nephew’s mother won’t mind.

It’s not about throwing away memories—it’s about making room for the ones that truly matter.
